How do I get to Hoadley Hide?
- by VLine to Ballan train station
- by car and get dropped off at Ballan train station
A shuttle bus will be operation from Ballan train station to Blackwood Scout Camp every 30 minutes
On Sunday after the conclusion of the event the bus will drop you back at Ballan train station.

Do I need to register everyone in my patrol at the same time?
No! You can register either as a team or individually without any issue.
Make sure that your team all use the same unit name formatting, this will avoid any confusion down the track.
How many people are in a patrol?
You will need a patrol of 4-7 Venturers to compete.
This is so that if you have 7 people wishing to attend you can all be in one team.
If there are 8 people you should split into two teams of 4.
Don’t have enough for a patrol?
Join up with Venturers from another unit, just tell us who you’d like to be with!
If you don’t know anyone who’s going that’s okay too!
We will match you up with other Venturers who are just as keen as you and create the ultimate combined team!
